2013 BUTLER FARM SHOW GROUNDS SCHEDULED
EVENTS
The following is a list of events that are scheduled
for the Butler Farm Show grounds in 2013.
Some are one-day events, others are multiple day events.
The schedule was compiled on January 9,
2013. Other events may be added.
May 4, 2013 (Saturday): The Butler Media Group will host a Pet Expo on this date. Complete details of the scheduled activities are still being completed.
MAY 10-11-12, 2013 (Friday-Saturday & Sunday) Wood Carvers Show. This three day event is new for the Butler County area. The show is moving from Ridgeway, Pa. to Butler. The activities will take place within the show arena. Gates open at 9:00 A.M. daily
May 18, 2013 (Saturday) It’s the Annual Kids Day America. Last year the event raised over $10,000 for the Boy Scouts of America. Lots of rides, fun games, food and demonstrations will be available for the kids. Admission is free. The Butler County 4-H organization will be the benefactor this year.
June 2, 2013 (Sunday) The Breezeshooters a, ham radio organization will hold their annual swap meet show. Ham radio enthusiast from Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, West Virginia and Pennsylvania converge on the farm show grounds to buy and sell their products.
June 14-15-16, 2013 (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) One of the biggest outdoor RV SHOWS in Western Pennsylvania will feature all makes and models of trailers and motorhomes.
July 20-21, 2013 (Saturday-Sunday) The Cancer Society will stage a big Relay for Life event. Teams will compete for prizes and the honor of raising a large amount of money for cancer research.
July 27, 2013 (Saturday) The Rex Energy Company will have a large picnic for their lease holders. This is the second year for the event.

Annual Butler Farm Show
August 17, 2013 (Saturday) The Rod Fathers Club will hold their second Classic Car Show on this date. Six local VFD’s and the Rod Fathers Club hold a day-long raffle. Prizes include cruises, trips, computers and other exciting prizes. Ticket cost just $20. Food vendors will be on the grounds. No alcohol !! August 22, 2013 (Thursday) – State Representative Brian Ellis will hold his annual Community Day. It’s a free admission event that draws thousands to the farm show grounds to partake in the activities.
August 31, 2013 (Saturday) Team Pittsburgh sponsors this annual GUN RAFFLE and Party. It’s a full day of activities. Food, drinks and fun, and the chance to win trips, guns, and other prizes highlight the day-long event. Contact Don Gregory at 412-459-0094 for tickets purchase.
September 14, 2013 (Saturday) Five Butler Township Volunteer Fire Companies combine their members to present the annual GUN RAFFLE AND PARTY. Tickets are priced at $60 and can be purchased by calling 724-287-7465 Extension 323
September 28, 2013 (Saturday). The Butler County 4-H organization will conduct a large auction inside the “Ag” Building, next to the airport. This event gets bigger and better every year.
